This Data Privacy Statement (“Privacy”) describes how Global Notification Solutions Pte Ltd that markets under ‘Artius Global’ collects, uses and discloses information, and what choices you have with respect to the information. When we refer to ‘Artius Global’, we mean the Artius Global entity that acts as the controller or processor of your information, as described in the Artius Global affiliates section. This Privacy may be available in different languages. In the event of any conflict between the English version of this Privacy and a translated version of this Privacy, the English version shall prevail. In the event of any conflict of laws, the Law of the Republic of Singapore shall prevail. We have broken this Privacy out into separate areas, based on your relationship with us:

CLIENTS AND PROSPECTIVE CLIENTS

  • Information we collect from you: • Information submitted through our artiusglobal.com and other artiusglobal.com websites (AG Websites) – for example when requesting further information, downloading a whitepaper, responding to a survey or subscribing to a newsletter and other webforms that require users to give contact information. Contact information from the registration form is used only to send material relating to the event/activity/purpose for which it was collected and will not be sold to another party
  • Any correspondence between ourselves and you. This may sometimes include recording of calls, registration or attendance of Artius Global-hosted or sponsored events (such as promotional events, webinars, or conferences)
  • Any communication or interaction with Artius Global on-line or off-line, including for access to our platform (AG Platform) be it installed on your premises or in the cloud
  • Details of actions that you carry out through our Websitessuch as the pages accessed, information requested and the date and time of the request • Information which is tied to your usage of our Websites or your web browser – for example, your IP address, browsers used, operating system, referring web page, data and time, and the resources that you access AG Websites do not associate this data to individual user identities.

  • Approach you with information about Artius Global services that we think is directly relevant to your profession. We rely on legitimate interest as the lawful basis on which we collect and use your data to do this.

  • If we are under a duty to disclose or share your personal data in order to comply with any legal obligation, or in order to enforce or apply our terms of supply terms and other agreements with you or the company you work for; or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Artius Global, our affiliates, our customers, or others. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organizations for the purposes of fraud protection and to prevent cybercrime.

RESTRICTION ON USE OF CONTENTS ON AG WEBSITES AND AG PLATFORM

For the materials in AG Websites and AG Platform, external parties shall not make any attempt to reproduce, copy, reformat, publish, distribute, upload, post, transmit, transfer in any manner or sale of any of the materials and information in AG Websites and AG Platform without the prior written permission of Artius Global.

How long will we hold your data for?

We will take into account the minimum period requirements as stipulated by applicable laws and good practices for Artius Global’s business purposes.

HOW WE STORE YOUR PERSONAL DATA

The data that we process in relation to you may be transferred to, and stored at, a destination outside the European Economic Area (EEA) and UK that may not be subject to equivalent data protection law. It may also be processed by staff situated outside the EEA and UK who work for us or for one of our suppliers.

We may transfer your personal data outside the EEA and UK:

  • In order to store it, with adequate safeguards.
  • In order to enable us to provide goods or services to and fulfil our contract with you or the company your work for. This includes order fulfilment, processing of payment details, and the provision of support services.

In order to facilitate the operation of our group of businesses, where it is in our legitimate interests and we have concluded these are not overridden by your rights.

Where your information is transferred outside the EEA and UK, we will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is subject to appropriate safeguards, such as relying on a recognized legal adequacy mechanism, and that it is treated securely and in accordance with this privacy policy. For example, these include implementing the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) for transfers of personal data between our group companies, which require all group companies to protect personal data they process from the European Economic Area in accordance with European Union data protection law. We have implemented similar appropriate safeguards with our third-party serviceproviders and partners. We may transfer or disclose your personal data to the following categories of recipients:

THIRD-PARTY WEBSITE

AG Websites may contain links to other web sites. Some of those web sites may be operated by other third parties. We provide the links for your convenience, but we do not review, control, or monitor the privacy practices of web sites operated by others.

THIRD PARTY SUB-PROCESSORS

To support delivery of our services, Artius Global (or one of its affiliates listed below) engages and uses Third Party data processors with access to certain personal data – for example, providing infrastructure services, managing our candidate recruitment process, and to help us provide customer support and email notifications. These processors, some but may not be all, are:

Prior to engaging any Third Party sub-processor, Artius Global performs diligence to evaluate their privacy, security, and confidentiality practices and executes an agreement implementing its applicable obligations. IP ADDRESSES and COOKIES

We may collect information about your digital device, including where available your IP address, operating system and browser type, for system administration, customer support and to collect aggregate information for internal reporting purposes.

In addition, our Websites use cookies. A cookie is a small file of letters and numbers that we put on your digital device if you agree. These cookies allow us to distinguish you from other users of the Website, which helps us to provide you with a good experience when you browse our Website and also allows us to improve the Website.

The cookies we use are “analytical” cookies. Some of the common uses for our cookies are as follows:

  • To recognise and count the number of visitors and to see how visitors move around the site when they are using it. This helps us to improve the way our Website works, for example by ensuring that users are finding what they are looking for easily.

Do Not Track

Artius Global does not currently take steps to respond to browsers’ “Do Not Track” signals as no uniform standard to respond to such signals has been developed at this time.
